The uChair range is a smart and elegant update of a classic cantilevered typology. Flat oval steel tubing, formed into simple shapes make up this series of upholstered seats available in high-back and low-back versions and accompanied by an ottoman.
The design is intentionally low-tech and simple, offering a sober yet sophisticated piece of furniture, appropriate for office use, waiting areas or at home.
Various colours and finishes are available, from leather to fabric, in full tone or in dual-tone (head-rest in complementary colour).

A lamp, a mobile.
The line seems to float in the air; a puff of wind would have it slightly moving.
Electrical inlets rarely are just above the dining table. This pendant lamp responds to this issue by combining functionality and poetry, rationalism and lightness.
The whole lamp slides very simply in the T part that holds it to adjust the leaning.

Stefan Schöning
The Smoke chair is a modern version of a classical typology, the bergere chair which is well known for smoking cigars, reading a book, etc.
A lounge version that has been stretched and lowered. The ears have been cut-off, but the back is still high enough to rest your head.
Smoke has been developed for and presented at the new pavilion of the Flemish Parliament, a design of farris.schöning, a collaboration of Italian architect Giuseppe Farris and Antwerp designer stefan schöning.
