The ears have been cut-off, but the back is still high enough to rest your head. The seat has been stretched and lowered, which results in a comfy feeling.

Smoke has been developed for and presented at the new pavilion of the Flemish Parliament, a design of farris.schöning, a collaboration of Italian architect Giuseppe Farris and Antwerp designer stefan schöning.

A flat oval steel tubing is bent into simple shapes to form the stackable structure, which is then upholstered with a high tech woven 3D fabric.

The design is intentionally low tech and simple, offering a sober yet sophisticated piece of furniture to grace an ofice, waiting area or home.

The U Low chair and its Ottoman are the first releases of the U Chair Series.

Dimensions:
Low Chair: H95xD90xW56
Ottoman: W72xL60xH36

Available end 2009.

According to wish or need, the whole lamp slides very simply in the T part that holds it.

Available in two sizes: 240cm and 150cm. Height adjustable.
Colours: Signal Blue, Traffic Yellow, Pure Orange, China Red and Black.
Sets of one or three lamps, sold in convenient cardboard tube package.
